A//Political Lyrics

This is what I call lyrics, not that poppycock every one of you listens to.

Who Will Build The Roads?
-------------------------------------

We've a dream in our hearts and we won't give it up!

Insane with desperation in a world so fucking cold and grey
Masked Soulless creatures toiling, wasting day to day
Production units, fucking cogs, nothing but a number
Hollow lives, some existence, do you ever wonder?

There must be an alternative to this insensitive way of life!
There is an alternative, but we're gotta fucking fight.

How much longer can we exist in this shit world?
The blueprints for the apocalypse have been unfurled
Government after government has proven fucking false!
Have YOU answers? What's YOUR answer? WE'RE the answer and the cause!

If government is the answer it's a stupid fucking question!

Time and again we're criticized by those quick to buy into the media definition of what is Anarchy. A media whose sole purpose it to serve the rich elite. The corporations: those whose sole interest is profit at whatever price. People buy into this shit unknowingly from birth. What alternative source of information are they given after all? None. You question, you doubt, you give up! Rebel a bit and get it out of your system. There are no alternatives, right? Wrong. You won't find change in government. You won't find change in escapism either. You will however find change in you, in us. We are the system. We are the masses so many speak of. We are the root of the problem. We are the base. We are the people.

Who will build the roads? We will! Who will provide the basic necessities? We will. Who will bring an end to poverty, homelessness, greed, war, death, famine, injustice? If anything, we will. We are the alternative. There is no savior, there is no god. A better leader won't come along, a better government doesn't exist. It's just YOU and I.

Propaganda By Deed
------------------------------------

Choose your weapon, show your anger, time to take up the fight, we cannot sit in silence While authority claims its right to control our very being from the moment of first breath regulation, structure, order follow us until death.

Told we must accept their power as legitimate and true
Told we must use their methods, told there's nothing we can do
We must begin to turn our back on authority's persistence
Time to take a step toward our active resistance

Fight back against their power
Fight back against their greed
Live a life of total freedom
Propaganda by the deed

Once our movement wielded power causing fear within the state
Pushing power into history forced them to retaliate
So we took our acts of vengeance with a riot, gun, or bomb
Exposing state repression which they'd hidden for so long
Governments made the martyrs but the movement wouldn't die
And another generation lives on to defy
The power and authority that has been held on
By people who won't freely admit that they are wrong

Fight back against their power
Fight back against their greed
Live a life of total freedom
Propaganda by the deed

Technology, propaganda and complex bureaucracy
The foundation of the system of modern authority
Our old methods seem so twisted our ideals would be perverted
Through their tacit agreements, our movement would be thwarted
But resistance takes on many forms and vengeance is but one
The road to freedom is ahead, but the journey's just begun
Education, change in lifestyle, and a little social change
Are the weapons in our battle at this early stage.

Love Is The Basis of Our Anger
--------------------------------------

Can not speak any longer
Voice gone
Worn out
Tired
So tired
No longer able to yell
Actions will be our arguments
Where our words have failed

WE ARE ENRAGED!

We see children lied to and nothing is done
Men killed in senseless warfare
And women brutally killed in senseless abuse
Images of beauty and hope strangled
Animals slaughtered for pleasure and profit
Humankind suffocated under the weight of Capitalist exploitative doctrine

So we throw our bricks, be it at police or labs
Politicians or union bosses
We plant our bombs, whether they be made of TNT
Or simple compassion
Our guns are aimed squarely and unwaveringly at those
That torture and murder us from birth
Fighting back with all that we have to reclaim
All that is ours
This revolution will be one that comes from the labor
Of our hearts as well as our hands

Love is the basis of our anger.

It's Not About Politics, It's About Life
----------------------------------------------

Human beings an arrogant bunch
So trite and ignorant always on the hunt
We've created this system both you and I
of Callused oppression of all living kind

Learn, Teach, Respect, and Peace.

The system doesn't care that nothing's ever fair
And the system doesn't care because you remain unaware
And no one gives a shit that you spike your hair
It's all a fucking joke and the system doesn't care

The system doesn't care what politics you wear
And the system doesn't care because you'll always be a player
And it kinda makes you wonder why you're always in despair
Always alone struggling and the system doesn't care

The system doesn't care because we're all a little scared
To really give a fuck and try to really care
The system doesn't care because you're caught in their snare
You're just a cog in the machine so the system doesn't care.

The system doesn't care because no one ever cares.
No one ever bothers, no one ever dares
The system doesn't care because the truth's unaware
That system is you, is there any hope out there?

Learn teach Anarchy and Peace.

Everything in life and everything you hate
Is perpetuated by you, by your choice of ignorance
By turning your back and ignoring the problem
The injustices to life we'll never solve them
Politics is a load of shit
But it's you who accept them
Your excuses are wearing thin
When will you realize
It's not about politics
It's about fucking life
Simply giving a fuck is our greatest fight.

The system doesn't care because the system is you
Nothing ever changes because that's what you choose.

You Are What You Consume
--------------------------------------------------

In this world of opportunities we choose to buy commodities
Useless token symbols we claim as necessity
The food we eat, the clothes we wear, the shit we use to do our hair
The money spent has a result, but do you even fucking care
About the message that you bring? Does symbolism mean anything
As you interact with your fellow living beings

You are what you consume, your identity is subsumed
By the products that you buy, your identity is a lie

Then end result is not by chance, every action has a consequence
There's more to your choices than mere convenience
So many choices to be made, so much money that can be paid
Your support for their policies is on public display
With every choice you play a role, every action has a toll
But it's you who has the ultimate control

You are what you consume. The sum result of the symbolic meaning of the products that you choose to purchase. This is the democracy of Capitalism. You vote with your dollars. Every purchase is a vote for the corporation. Every dollar spent is a choice of ignorance over compassion. A slice of cheese or a cookie is money in Jesse Helm's campaign fun. A cleaning product is another thousand animals tested upon. A garden burger is another family farm evicted by giant agribusiness.A chocolate bar is another thousand starving children. A cup of coffee is another dictatorship in Central America. This isn't a call for a mass boycott. It's a demand to pause and think about what your purchases say about you and the world you live it. You are what you consume.
